This is very misleading. The problem with the Blue Pool is that you have to hike to get there and so people reach it then jump in. The water is cold at 34° F, and so you’re overheating from the hike and the shock to your body from the drastic temperature change can cause some people to have the automatic gasp response, inhale a bunch of water then drown.
Yeah, if people died just from cold water, winter bathing wouldn’t be a thing
